Living Lights is the concept for a roomfilling art-installation with lightbased realtime visualisations. Its an environment, within the visitors have the possibilities to interact with the simulation of a flock of fish and take over the control of their own experiences.
To prove the effect of the concept, a mock-up of the scale 1:5 was built. Including 576 leds, 3 rainbowduinos, 2 arduinos, 4 infrared sensors and about 900m of cables.
The simulation of the flock was programmed with processing.
